Day off today. Didn't fancy badminton or swimming this week, stay ed home and finished the accounts off.

New tyre put back on car, cost loads. I have made a small saving, I broke my prescription swimming goggles a while back and I've been thinking about getting some new ones. Instead I bought some normal goggles and nicked the elastic off them to go on my goggles and it seems to have worked. I've yet to go swimming in them but they seem ok. If it works a saving of £45!

DS1 has started getting a few lambs. Not be long before he's really busy. He turns 18 next week. Scary times ahead!

It's my DS1s birthday today, He's 18!!!! Told him beer wouldn't taste the same after today. He's busy lambing and fighting the elements, his sister is getting off the bus and giving him a hand. I've got him a fabulous cake with a sheperds crook on, with Shaun the sheeps head in the middle, a barrell of a gun and a pint of beer. This sums him up to a T. Gave him a watched which we've had engraved, some beer and a box set he's started watching.

A bit fed up toady, just had to get the third tyre mended/replaced. Thats been 3 on Vanessa and Morris had a pucture the other day. The girls in the office thought it was hilarious, I wasn't impressed. Just don't seem to be making any headway.

In lighter news. I'm hoping to take DD2 out of school for a week and go and help a friend lamb. She's never had chance to do this so it will be fun. Not looking forward to the journey as its on Skye, a long way and I hope the weather doesn't scupper my plans.

Didn't get the golf club contract we tendered for so a bit fed up about that as well. Still waiting to hear if we've got the dealership.
