(((((((((((((((Lucielle))))))))))))))))) We lost both our dogs within 6 weeks of each other this year, so I know what you're going through. Remember that this is the bravest, kindest decision we can ever make for our animals and you're doing the right thing for Cracker, even though it's the hardest thing in the world. Thinking of you xxx

I wish there was something I could do or say to take this pain away. You are being the kindest friend to Cracker by going down this route. It will get easier but you need to take the time to grieve over your friend. Rejoice in the fact that you get to say goodbye and that you can reward Cracker for the lovely times by being so brave at a time when she needs you most.

Lots of love and very big hugs Granny x

Anyway the crappiest of news till last. Had to take my furball dog to the vets today. She's been drinking loads and weeing everywhere. I had an inkling what it ight be but she only had 2 of the symptons. Managed to get a pee sample. She has got diabetes and due to her age and how quickly its come on, we think its kindest to let her sleep.

On Monday we say our final goodbyes to Cracker dog. This is killing me typing this, so I'll sign off

So sorry to hear about Cracker.

I remember a work colleague telling me that if I was an animal they would put me down because of my diabetes amongst other health issues. It is a very difficult decision to make but best for your little friend as diabetes is not easy to manage in a human let alone a dog.

Dearest Lucielle I am so sorry to hear about your dog. You poor, poor thing. As cazmanian_minx says it is the bravest and kindest thing that you are doing, but it is heart breaking too.

Can 't believe Monday is here. Took her to the beach yesterday and you wouldn't think anything was wrong with her. Got up this morning and she's weed on the settee cos son hadn't shut the door properly. Got to phone the vets shortly. Can't face work, OH is coming back later.
