Decided to go ahead and get the cooker repaired, its going to cost £170. Did have a look at news ones but decided against it. In the meantime the microwave has decided to go pop, so need to source a cheapy one at the weekend.

We were in John Lewis at the weekend looking at beds. OHs back is really bad and he's been advised to spend as much time as possible lying down. We had sort of decided to go the whole hog and get a new frame and give our bed to DD1 as her room is the guest room. We had virtually decided on the frame and mattress when the sales chap told OH to lie down on the tempura cloud mattress. OH was immediatley in love with this mattress. Well he was till he saw the price! Trouble is its spoilt us for picking another mattress. So do we just get the mattress and forget about a new frame, or go the whole hog and get it? Part of me is thinking its a sort of investment in keeping OH going and the other is bl00dy hell that's expensive!!!

Managed to get OHs suit ready for the party in July, DS1 got some new jeans and t shirts, DS2 got some shorts and t shirts.

DD1 asked if she could have a dress for my other nieces party. I nearly fainted as she lives in jeans/tracky bottoms. Anyway we were in New Look trying stuff on, she also wanted a bikini. She tried this dress on which looked lovely but had these 'pockets' at the back. It took me a few minutes to realise she'd put it on back to front and they weren't pockets!! Once it was on the right way she looked lovely.

    Morning Lucielle

I've got one of these mattresses and definitely would never go without again, they really are worth their weight in gold - a definite investment I'd say.

Oh my that's funny about the dress and hard not to laugh, which of course may have put her off the idea of a dress after all.

Hope you have a good day

Ohs redundancy had been and gone and siggy updated. Still got a little bit put to oneside, just waiting to decide what to do with it.

Had abysmal weather up here and it took me 2 hours to get home due to floods. I was panicing as my mobile was low on battery and credit. OH did come looking for me t one point in Morris but I had found a guardian angel who got me out of the worst of it. I've looked at some footage of the floods on you tube and if I hadn't of been in it I wouldn't've beleived it was so bad!

Anyway our night out at the races got cancelled, not surprising really. Boss was in a bit of a grump, hopefully been rearranged.

Anyway the crappiest of news till last. Had to take my furball dog to the vets today. She's been drinking loads and weeing everywhere. I had an inkling what it ight be but she only had 2 of the symptons. Managed to get a pee sample. She has got diabetes and due to her age and how quickly its come on, we think its kindest to let her sleep.

On Monday we say our final goodbyes to Cracker dog. This is killing me typing this, so I'll sign off
