Lovely day here earlier so went up to the boys. They all came in really well and were good. I had taken my bridle apart when I was cleaning it and I must have put it back together wrong as the bit wasn't sitting right in his mouth. Took it apart again several times and I just couldn't figure it out. In the end I turned him out as he wasn't happy and kept tossing his head about. Came back from the ride had another think about it and hopefully got it set up right. Serious blonde moment!

Not a blonde moment, they are seriously complicated things! I do a lot of grovelling to people in the know when I take the bridle apart, which is very rare, it must be admitted!
The only way I can possibly nearly get it right, is to almost wear it myself.....Total debt at October 2008: £67,213.30

Thanks Piq, I feel such a numpty sometimes (well most of the time actually). Had another blonde moment (hope that's it for the week) just realised that I have got DD1s dinner money out for the week. However all is not lost as I am going to pay it back in and then pay it off the target card. Also DS1 doesn't need any money on Monday as he is in a swimming gala and needs a packed lunch. That will be another £13 off the card!
Delivered Avon after work only have 1 delivery left to make and that will be done on Wednesday. Feeling a bit tired now as I have been awake since 3 this morning (when OH came quietly in from his shift, not!) so going to go to bed with my book. Night night

Gosh I've been soooo tired recently. With OH being on nights last week and getting at 5.20am and bringing me a cup of tea I feel like I have been doing them with him! Finally last night managed a decent nights sleep. He is away for a couple of nights to sort out his mums house, which fingers crossed is sold.
DD1 has phoned from France and is having a great time. She is in the 2nd top group for skiing and is the only year 7 girl in that group so she is a little bit put out but I told her to just enjoy it!
Not much happening on the debt busting front until OH gets paid on Friday. Tomorrow I am thinking about having a baking session. See how I feel in the morning.

I seem to 'do' a lot but not achieve very much if you get my drift? OH is paid weekly so it isn't such a long time to wait. It has usually all gone by Wednesday though, stil can't get to grips with this budgeting malarky!

Baked a tonne of scones, so some can go in the freezer, flap jack cooking as I type and lentil soup in the pressure cooker. Not a bad start to the morning me thinks. Must push the hoover round at some point.

Thanks Piq, still not pushed the hoover round may be tomorrow. Just made some veg soup ready for the weekend. Must admit the lentil soup is pretty good and I've had 2 mugfuls for lunch.
