Not sure it could cope with, childrens clutter, dog hair, cat hair, coal dust and everything else that accumulates on the floors! My hoovering is pretty amazing when I get going, honestly the amount of lego I can get in it! Then I wonder why its blocked!!!!

Had a pretty good day today. Got up shoved the hoover round, 2 loads of washing, made tea (sausage casserole) and cleaned the bathroom, then soaked in clean bath before going out for the day!

Paid a total of £211.98 off some cards. This month so far the target card has had £150.14 thrown at it. Can't wait for next month as the council tax is going on it as well. The aim is to have it cleared for May but I'm secretly hoping for April.

Waiting to see what the weather brings tomorrow to see if we are going up to the boys. I'm working tomorrow evening and also on Sunday, then I'll have to wait to see what next week brings. OH is on his way back from sorting his mums house out, expecting him around 10.00.

I've been having fun and games with Abbey National. They sent me a notice on the 12th December to tell me my new debit card was available to collect from the Skipton branch. I haven't lived in that county for 8 years! I telephoned to request they send the card to my home address. I have now done this 3 times as they keep sending it to Skipton! Needless to say I think I have been more than patient and am now completely hacked off. The final straw was yesterday when I got another letter to say the card was available for collection from.......Skipton! I blew my top.

Eventually I got put through to a supervisor and we went through the whole process and how many times the card had been sent out wrong etc The upshot was that she was going to phone the Skipton off ice and get them to send the card to my local branch. Guess what.. the branch was closed! I ended the conversation by asking for their customer complaints address and she had the cheek to say could I not give them 1 more chance at which point I nearly lost it!

I use that account for my child benefit. Not for much longer, once I have got it moved its getting closed.

Worked last night, it went ok even though I was dreading it. Also working this morning.

DD1 comes home from skiing so I hope her flights are on time. Will have to make sure the washer is empty and then I can blast through that. Still got the boys beds to change and ours. Struggling to get it dry at the moment and don't want to use the tumble dryer. Have a good day

Got blown out of work again today. In fact I'm waiting for her to come home and then we need to 'talk'. Paid another £10 card.

Not feeling too chipper today despite winning a fiver on the scratchcards. Had the accountant over for OHs business, its great he's made a profit and now we have the tax to find. To be honest we weren't expecting this so have no plans in place. OH will have to pay £82 per month and I'll have to pay £85. Not too sure where these amounts are going to come from yet. Have decided to get another account and put money away for tax this year. Not too sure how well the business will do this year due to the current climate. We will just keep plodding on.

On a completely different topic DD1 is in a cross country race this afternoon and has phoned to tell me she needs a packed lunch. Managed to get the boys bedding washed just ours left to do. Going to have bacon and eggs for tea. OH is at the dentists tonight.

Well done on the fiver lucielle! I've never won more than 20p and I think that was only once!

The tax is a pain, but you must put that money aside. It's not worth the stress and panic it will cause trying to find it all at the last minute. Good news about making a profit, well done to OH.

I know what you mean about plodding on, some days it seems that is all we do!

Had a really bad day at work today and walked out. Had no contact from them and don't really expect any. Not the best timing in the world. So onwards and upwards.
