Sounds all a bit manic at your place at the mo Lu, hopefully things will get better soon. Hope the dog feels better now and ouch to the vets bill, but as you say you will get it back. Well done on the loan payment too its all heading in the right direction although sometimes we feel its all uphill. Enjoy Florence and the machine sounds fun.:T

    Beanie fab weightloss!

    Hi Turfy.

Thank goodness the weekend has arrived. DS1 had his test on Thursday I went to Booker and spent more on the plastic. In the afternoon went to my course and called in at the garage to see if he could fix my boot. The locks !!!!!!ed so its booked in on Tuesday for a new lock. When I got home I chcked when its MOT was due and its the 6th of April, so called back in today and its also going for its MOT on Tuesday. Please let it pass.

Took the DDs to see Florence and the Machines, more mad panic as I realised I hadn't recevied the tickets. Arranged to collect them from the box office. Managed to get the wrong junction twice on the way down so just whizzed straight across the roundabout and down the other side. DD2 managed to lose the battery out of the camera, even though we searched we couldn't find it. It was an old camera but annoying all the same.

3 chaps have gone to Scouts today and are doing scuba diving in a pool, which ledft me with DS1. Managed to drag him into town and get him sheared and he now looks a very handsome devil, even if I do say so myself. The plastic took a hit again as I bought a new camera, will put through the business as we need it for ebay, a gadget to try and stop his dog from constantly barking and some other bits and bobs.

Sadly the hen didn't make it. I was looking at some more P.O.L at the local agric merchants but they're wanting £15 per chook. Bit steep I thought.

Ah yes another confession, I bought the weed matting that I've been talking about for ages (so much for the ebay challenge), that arrived on Friday, so guess which chaps are helping me tomorrow as its that special day.

I've picked up some colour books, so I can decide what I'm going to do with the living room, it is getting done this year!

    Poor hen.

Bloomin' heck L, do you ever stop? The camera will pay for itself, in a very short time. The weed matting is essential, wish I'd got some, my garden is like a protected nature reserve for weeds, no flowers allowed.

What sort of gadget stops a dog from barking? I suppose sticky tape would be considered wrong....:rotfl:I have considered an option during the 2:00am chorus from a neighbour's dogs. How can they not hear, why are they not awake?

Will you be taking it easy as it's your special day tomorrow. I think I already know the answer to that one...

Its not a nasty one that gives shocks. Its a remote control that you can press and it vibrates on the dogs neck and if that fails you can press another button and it emits a noise.

Hoping to take it fairly easy tomorrow, we'll see.

Good grief woman !!! Im away a wee whiley and such a lot happens .
How's your mum stepdad and everyone. Your family sounds similar to mine think only get told my mum was in hospital afterwards and then she's upset she didn't " even get a card"
Sorry to hear about the chook . Happy to hear the dog is ok . My dogs barked when I wasn't there so I got a different collar - it sprayed saline if they continued barking after giving a warning and it did help . Hope yours works

Busy and productive day. Started by slobbing in the bath with a face pack and a stash of mags. Chaps got me some tulips and choccys (not many left now). My weed matting is in place and a whole raised bed has been moved and the sleepers reused.

Cooked a ham in the slow cooker so glazed that and had some for tea. Dogs collar works but only if you can see the collar so not going to work when she's in her pen and trying to do it from the kitchen window.

Just listed a horse trailer on ebay that needs to be sold. I've got to take the flat trailer to work tomorrow morning. Really not looking forward to that, as my trailer driving leaves a lot to be desired. Planning on going in early so I don't meet anything scary.

House dog has got a sore foot, I think its from when she jumped on the window sill and pulled her claw.

Well done for the 'me' time. You so rarely seem to spend time on yourself L.

Don't worry about the chocs, sounds like you burned them all off in the garden, it has been a lovely day, hasn't it?

I've never driven a trailer, so you're one up on me. Have to be honest, I don't envy you driving it all.

Off to update my diary now, see you later L
