New uniform is ok and I've been making an effort. A day off today and the weather is looking gorgeous. WM is on and will get our bedding done as I did the chaps at the weekend. Got to nip into the village to do some banking and must meal plan for the weekend as my sister and bil are coming up to drop their daughter off at uni.
Also going to ring the gym today and get that booked. Tip (the puppy) is settling in well, she comes inside in the mornng to play with the resident house dog, she's still very timid but very cute. Must check if DDs put the piccis on then I'll post some.

Which gym option did you go for in the end?

I want to go to the supervised one. I also want to chat to them about classes to see which ones I could feasibly fit in. Should find out about my college course today.

Hope that you get some positive news about the course soon. The gym sounds exciting.
I am missing going to the gym at the moment - but ours put the price up - and we waiting until I am fully fit before rejoining. I also want to test out whether upping our activity level in other areas of our life will do the trick or not first before we join. I think I made good use of it when I was well enough - but we had family membership and I think the others wasted it. I think if I do go back I may try to do classes rather than going it alone so much as it would reach other muscle groups and add variety and a social element to it all...Achieve FIRE/Mortgage Neutrality in 2030

Managed to get on the course, so I'm doing the afternoon session. Purchased a large quantity of pork for a casserole yesterday as my sis, bil and niece are coming for an overnight stay on Saturday. I'm going to cook pork in Port, which I've not made for ages and as its a larger amount than normal I hope it turns out ok. Thinking about sticky toffee for pudding as I only need to make the sauce and I think its my nieces favourite, will have to check the freezer.
DS2 has had a phone call to say his turkeys are ready for collection, so got to build the pen and then we can collect them on Sunday. Another lovely day here, but stuck in the office. DS2 has a footy match on Saturday but he'll cut the grass at the workshop before he goes.
