OOOOOOHHHHH, AAAARGHHHH, EEEEEEHHHHHH. Very cross and annoyed L here. I put my name down to do a course as soon as the course programme was issued. Went through hoops at work to get a cheque off the boss to pay for half of it. The boss wanted the other girl who works in the office to do it and she enrolled at the college closer to her (same course different college) and I wanted the one local to me. Even though she's put no effort into sorting anything out and it was all down to me. Called in today to pay for the course and there's only me so its not going to run. Requested I go on the one at the other college to find its full!!!!!! Rang the other college to go on the waiting list and then suggested they phone round to make sure everybody is going to see if I can't get on. I did say that it must've been obvious a couple of weeks ago that the course wasn't going to run and wouldn't it have made sense to give me the opportunity to go to the other college.

That's not good, lucielle! Generally speaking, though, each course has at least one or two people who change their mind about going, whether before the course starts, or after a week or two, so hopefully you will be able to get a place on it.

    What a hassle though!

Have phoned the local college to see if the tutor would teach me privately and its a possibility. I'll know more by Wednesday.

Had my back done again last night, its a lot looser but still need to do the exercises. Went to Lidl and Sainsbugs on my way home. I was going to buy the new Pirates of the Caribbean but at 25 quid I decided against it. Purchased a pair of black trousers ready for Monday as we now have to wear a uniform, no more jeans and trainers, sigh. This has shown me that I really need to get myself sorted out, portion control and exercise. Still umming and ahhing about the gym, but I need to do something.

Tis party day today, I'm really dreading it. Roll on tomorrow.

Hi Lu - caloriecount is a free website that lets you track your food - and I think you can log activity levels as well. I map my run - on android or iphones - will track your distances if you have access to a smart phone.... That's a free app

Hope you can find something that works for you

Morning hope the party goes well and that you manage to get the course sorted although getting taught privately might be a better option for you and be a bit more flexible. Hope the back continues to improve, the exercises are a bit of a pain but I find they really work for me.

Back is loads better thanks. I gave them all the 'talk' at tea time and told them if they wake me up they'll go home as I wasn't having a drink. I think they think I'm a battle axe (don't care) but I need my sleep. I did hear them crashing about at 6.30ish but ignored them. Have hoovered everywhere as they had those silly guns with the little balls and got 2 loads of washing on the line, including all the chaps bedding. Will try and get mine done later in the week.

Still got 1 child here, he's going at 1.30ish and then we'll see how vile DS2 is. It struck me the other day that I've got 3 teenagers (never was very quick on the uptake) so probably in for a few turbulant times. Must get off here and crack on with the chutney.
