Well laydees many thanks for persuading (bully) me into going to fat class, I lost half a pound and is sort of keeping me on the straight and narrow. I'm off riding tomorrow and looking forward to that and should be playing badminton at the weekend.
OHs last night tonight and he's off for a week as he has to use his leave up. He's got lots to do as he has a potential new contract for a cricket club and he's off to see them tomorrow as well as returning 3 lawnmowers and collecting another one. Whilst out he will call in at a golf club he does work for.
DS1 is at Young Farmers and will be back later. Boss hasn't been in yet but I'm getting ready.

I hope that the business picks up as it should be coming into season, so I should be enjoying the calm before the storm.

Well done on the loss. Half a pound is half a pound. Pick up a jar of jam and think I've lost that!CCs @0% £24k Dec 05 £19,621.41 Au £13400 S 12600 Oct £11,981 £9481 £7500 Nov £7250 D £7100 Jan 6950 F £5800 Mar£5400 May £4830 June £4660 July £4460 Aug £3200, S £900, £0 18/9/07 DFW Nerd 0420

Just had a fantastic riding lesson and been jumping, fair enoguh not very high but certainly out of my comfort zone. Booked again for a fortnights time but will be on my own as my riding partner is away on holiday. So only having 1/2 an hour but it will be without stirrups............eek....where did I put those padded knickers?????
Shadowed the other person whos leaving and it really is a very bitty, crappy job shes got. Its all negotiating electric contracts, water, insurance and making sure the licences are applied for. Lots of hanging round on the phone and waiting for information. Luckily the boss came today and we had a chat. Trying to up my wages but he is a crafty devil. I am not sure how we are going to fit it in. The other girl who has worked their longer came to see what it entails to see if we could split it between us but not sure thats doable. I also told him it was embarrasing that we didn't know what was happening and being 'left out the loop'. He acknowledged that he finds it difficult to pass information on and liked to play his cards close to his chest. He said he was impressed with the way the shop girls had handled the job when the weather was bad, I asked him if he'd actually told them. Feeling pretty up beat and positive.
Came home and my work colleague phoned to say that the boss had invited myself, her and the lady whos leaving for a meal on Thursday night. Shame I cant make that night as I've got DD1s options evening. Hopefully it might get rearranged.
OH has secured the work at the cricket club he went to see and to put in a sort of tender for the golf club he has done work for in the past. Whilst he was delivering some mowers back to their owners a next door neighbour came out to get theirs done.
