How infuriating!!!! Poor you. What on earth business is it of that woman to suggest alternative ways of repaying debt when you are doing exactly what suits you best. Ooooh I hate bank staff sometimes.

On the other hand, I am in awe of your catering skills and wish I could come up with the range of healthy, tasty and cheap meals you do.

Thanks Seaxwyn, you wouldn't think they are healthy to look at me as I am huuuuuuuuge. Another thing to put on the to do list, but at the moment my 'head' isn't in the right place IYKWIM. A lot of the recipes are off the os board.

Have got the base sauce on the go. Just cooked some sausages for casserole for tomorrow nights tea. Got a leg of pork for Thursday tea and with the remains I will cook Jambalaya for Friday tea. Going to sort out the car insurance via Quidco.

I also love hearing about the horses I dont ride myself but my children used to have lessons until they stopped but i still try to take them in the holidays. My daughter would love to have a horse of her own.

I find I cook the same old things all the time and get in a bit of a rut. My mum saves me her weekly magazines and I am wading through a years worth at the moment and I do get some good recipes out of there. I enjoy batch baking, but things are so tight at the moment that I haven't got enough ingredients to make anything. Normally I would've made my Christmas mincemeat and the cakes would've been made by now. Hoping things will pick up in the next couple of weeks.

The horses are tolerated by OH and even though I don't keep any costs from him I try not to say too much about them.

  • I've got a horse mad DD too. Her dream is to own a horse. She rides fortnightly which is all we can afford at present. I'd love for her to go weekly but hopefully that can happen at some point next year.

Just picked up an application form for some casual work. The wages aren't brill but better than nothing and also it will fit round the children. Got a few bits of food shopping we needed. Bought OH a hoodie for when he is on nights, never thought he'd wear one of those! Weather is bit grey today so no washing out. Got to take DS2 to the orthodontists tomorrow so I can drop the form off tomorrow providing I get it completed.

Application form completed and ready to be dropped off. Got to go for an x-ray at some point. Apparently you just turn up at the department between 2 and 4 and then the docs get the results in a weeks time. Should be able to fit that in tomorrow.
