Dropped the application in just have to wait now. Had my arm twisted and going to a Christmas fair, this could be a dangerous place cash wise. Please give me strength just to window shop. DS2 doesn't need to go to orthodontist for another 12 months which is great.

  • Hope you survived the Christmas fair with your purse intact! I survived a stall at mums and tots with lots of lovely christmas cards-they were lovely but double the price of Asda's so I sat there without spending a penny! Felt a bit tight as it was the stepdaughter of a lady who goes to mums and tots but I don't have the money this month (or any month!)

Well I did succumb but not for a fortune. Got a few lovely bits and bobs. Problem with old boys new rug (purchased earlier on this year) it has got a detachable neck cover to help keep him warmer, trouble is its too small. Phoned up the company and apparently thats the way they are sold. Told him that I didn't have a receipt but they would be able to trace it on the system and give me a credit note. So fingers crossed that that is what happens.

A little something you fancy doesn't hurt does it? I have gone online with my mystery shopping money today and ordred a top to wear over Christmas as I haven't got anything going outy to wear and I feel like a sack of potatoes at the moment! Felt guilty but then thought-sod it!

Hope you get to go somewhere nice in it.

Been to work today, very quiet and very boring. Should have quite a few hours in December so that will be helpful.

Hoping to go to horses tomorrow and then I will sort out the rug. There's always something! Should have the vet this week to take out a tooth from my old boy and give mine his jabs. Fingers crossed I have saved enough for this.

Lucielle, reading about your horses, I do feel very jealous.
It's a good few years since I had my horse, but I have always said that if we move somewhere with enough land, then I would have another one.

Although on days like today, when it hasn't stopped raining, I'm soooo glad I don't have to be going and mucking out. :D

When are you going for the x-ray, or did you go at the end of last week?
