Boys are shod to the tune of £70 slightly cheaper as mine had his put back on. Old boy made me laugh today as he tried to whip round at the gate and go back to his bed. I was ready for him. It still shows he has a sense of humour, mine realised the gate was open and ambled out, honestly you could see the lightbulb come on above his head!!!
Bought some fruit and veg on the way home. DD1 was making a crumble and the topping wasn't going according to plan. Had a look and realised she was using icing sugar. Going to have crumble tomorrow night. Made quiche for tea with new potatoes and a salad. Going to Lidl tomorrow with a friend. Gosh I know how to live.

Been and spent £55 at Lidl, so that should keep us fed for a while, I'm hoping for at least 2 weeks. Paid £25 off a card min payment as OHs wage was very dire. Should be working on Sunday. All Avon has been delivered so got some cash to bank. Hope the weather is nice tomorrow so DS1 and I can go riding.

Been quite busy this weekend. Got all the windows cleaned inside and outside, its only taken me a month to get motivated enough to do them. OH has spent nearly all day getting the 'cling film' to stick. Hope it helps with the condensation and keeps us warmer. I want to get one of those special curtain poles for the door that lifts when you open the door so the curtain doesn't get trapped. If anybody knows if they have a special name can you tell me.
Still haven't put the heating on but have lit the stove and moved the living room about so we are all sat on top of it.

Sounds like you are very motivated and in control Lucielle
Well done for keeping the heating off. We caved in at the beginning of the month but I've kept the thermostat turned right down in an effort to reduce costs. A few more woollies for us this winter I think...
How are your totals going I see yours is still reading at June 08? I'm sure you've improved your debt totals since then?

I will update the siggy after December as we will have been debt busting for 12 months then. Probably do it 1/2 yearly. Doing the windows has certainly made a difference. Just wish the landlords would bite the bullet and get double glazing put in!

Had quite a productive day. Sorted Avon orders out and new slips for the next book. Got a quote for my old boys insurance £83.75 originally quoted £145.10. Just waiting for the paperwork to come through. Made meatballs for tea which were a kind of success as I misread the recipe and put in 300ml of red wine instead of 3 fluid ounces (my excuse and I'm sticking to it!). Everybody ate it and we had DS2s choccy blocks he had made for pudding.

Fantastic ride today, decided not sending him to glue factory this week!! We went by ourselves (feeling brave) and he was such a good boy, as I have to get on and off to un-padlock a gate. Had a good canter up a hill and made 3/4 of the way up before his nose nearly hit the ground and had to stop.
Still not put the heating on. Forgot to mention that the dishwasher had died. Its about 12 years old. OH keeps pulling it out and tinkering with it. He can get it to go for 1 cycle then it grinds to a halt. I have got £60 in £2 coins so I am hoping to save up for one. I know this should go on debt but we do make an awful lot of washing up. Having tomato pasta for tea, quick and easy as its a busy old night tonight.

With 4 kids I shudder to think of the washing up you must have-especially with all your lovely cooking! We inherited an old dishwasher with this house three years ago-when it gave up the ghost last year I rushed to replace it! I HATE washing up with a passion-although I didn't think twice about doing it for the 6 years we were in our previous house! We're having tomato pasta too tonight-I've got a preschool committee meeting so need something quick and filling-plus I'm brassic! Choccy blocs sound nice-I'm obsessed with sweet things this pregnancy!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Usually the children take it in turns to wash up (normally mum and dad have to do some of it again), however I have a rebellion on my hands as DS1 did some washing up at the weekend and reckons its now not his turn. He has a point its just the way he puts it across. I actually wish we had a resident house cow or goat, the amount of milk we get through is astonishing. Once again we need another 6 pints.

We get through loads of milk as well-we eat a lot of porridge (smartprice of course) which uses loads of milk and ds drinks tons as well. As I've been strapped for cash i've been watering down the semi skimmed for our porridge with half water half milk-and haven't noticed any difference reallyHSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18
