Having quite a productive morning. Scout camp has been cancelled due to ruddy snow its horrible slushy stuuf at the mo and everywhere is sopping wet. Needless to say the boys are confined to stables and have been since Thursday, unless we have a hard frost not sure when they'll be out.

So far I have tried a new recipe for lentil curry which is in the slow cooker, stewed some apples for crumble, de-frosting some fish to make fishcakes and peeled a panful of spuds for said fishcakes.

OHs is in his shed as he is fairly busy with his business. I am trying to persuade (beating my head against a brick wall) to go for some Alexander technique therapy for his back. May have to resort to reminding him regularly (aka nagging).

Taxi the curry was nice but it doesn't look very appealing. I'll post the recipe later.

Things have become untenable where I keep the horses, so with a heavy heart its time to find them new homes. The farmer is 1 of 3 brothers and he is in charge. He is bi-polar and was sectioned at Christmas for a few days. It has become apparent that it isn't going to get any easier and it will be best if DS1 keeps away as well. He is deeply upset but putting a brave face on it. The other brother who is the shepherd says he's a smahing lad.

I have drafted up some adverts for my horse and I'll put them in newsagents later. I am waiting to call a friend to see if she knows anybody who will have the old boy.

This has been a difficult decision for me as I have fought tooth and nail to keep them on our debt free journey, despite my current problems which was/am addressing. I can't afford to keep them anywhere else and the stress of the last few months has been building up.

Aaaagh. Ds2 has gone and snapped his bottom brace. Not only do I have to slaver miles to get it looked at it will cost a blooming fortune!!!!

Spent the afternoon writing postcards to put up in windows for my horse. Couldn't take any decent photos as he was like a drowned rat when he came in. Will try tomorrow, need to give his tail some attention as well as its getting a bit long. Now I've made the decision I just want it to be over IYKWIM.
