Just spent the evening doing the accounts. The VAT return will have to be done shortly. Had a really good nights sleep last night until 5.10am when the phone rang to call OH into work.

I must try and get some housework done this week as we are heading way past the pigsty level plus the ironing pile is no longer a pile and more of a mountain. Catching up with DDs washing from when she was away.

DS1s latest mission is to get some ferrets. A friend has given him a hutch, which we had initially said we'd get him for his birthday. Had a phone call tonight to say somebody locally had some ferrets for sale. So, probably over the next couple of weeks the menagerie will increase by 2 jill (girl) ferrets as they aren't as smelly as hobs (boys).

Not sure which is worse L ferets or driving in snow! You can keep them both.
Why do you have do do a VAT return? Now that's a really awful job, worse even than ferrets and driving in snow............

Been offered a 60% bursary and got a week to decide. DD1 now has to make her mind up.

  • Thats great that you were offered the bursary for DD1. I don't know anything about them but is that a good % to get? I guess its down to being able to afford the difference but sounds like a great opportunity.
