No movement on the car front. Have definitely bu&&ered the grocery budget. made the mistake of going into Asda last night, had a budget of £110 and spent £170. Had to put it on the card I've just cleared but it will be paid off on Friday. Not feeling pleased with myself but shouldn't need to shop intil well into March apart from fresh stuff.

DS1 was at the dental hospital yesterday, everything seems to be ok. DS2 is at the orthodontists this morning adn DS1 is at the normal dentists this afternoon. A lovely day off!!!! Best get my butt in gear.

That's a fair few dentists visits...
Ouch to the groceries but if they'll last a good while then probably worth it in the end.

Have been very bad and bought both lunch and tea out today. I have on my 'day off' driven 180 miles and feeling knackered as I have another long journey at the weekend to get DD1 back, who is having a great time. Sometimes its not so great living in the sticks.

Back home and thank the lord. Got within 10 miles of home and it started to snow. Had to pick up DD2 up as OH had been called out. Collected her and then had to go and get DS2. It REALLY started snowing. Car in front of me stopped just as we got to the top of the hill which meant I had to stop as other cars were coming the other way. Managed to get going again as the car in front of me reversed back with the woman screaming in the passenger seat as my car was 'fishtailing' as they went backwards.

As I came down another hill a 4x4 was over the edge with other 4x4s on the opposite side trying to help. 2 people stood in the middle of my side of the road watching me coming down the hill unable to stop. I decided to aim for the 4x4s as these people looked like they were glued to the spot. At the last minute they moved and I thought we were going to crash as we were sliding soo much. Managed to stop for the t junction and luckily my other friend lives on the other side. Pulled up onto her front shaking and in tears. Her husband went and got DS1 who was further down the road. Had a cup of tea and limped gingerly home. Absolutely knackered and feel wrung out. Still feel like I could weep.

that sounds absolutely terrifying Lucielle...glad you are safe though. It's a horrible feeling especially when you have to hope for the best.
We had snow again today as well..but hasn't settled thankfully.
Hope the shock leaves you soon.
