Live at the north pole, well it feels like it today. Live near the borders. Still snowing (sigh). OH is thinking of sleeping in his car as he will have to be out tonight. You would think his co-pilot would offer hime some floor space at his house which is nearer and within walking distance of depot. Miserable git.

Feeling really sorry for myself. This week has been so hard for both of us, not sure why as I should be used to him doing nights.

Hope the chap who's doing the horses is ok. Hoping he has left them in and thrown some hay at them. They will have to take their chance today as I cannot get down.

    1. Main aims for 2010 is to clear 9k by June
    2. Family time
    3. OHs business more productive which will help with 1
    4. Ride more
    5. better organised with cleaning and keep on top of it.
    6. Children to help with cleaning reward with cash?

Probably think of more as I go through the day.

**passes ski poles to Shaun, thereby decluttering a bit more from the garage**

Your list of aims looks very positive, lucielle, and pretty similar to mine. Not such great reading about the snow, though. My OH used to be a long distance Lorry Driver and was often "subject to the weather", so I know how you feel there!

Cant believe people are having snow, we got about 3 flakes on 23.12 and that is it - not a thing, very cold and icy though. Hope OH manages to get home soon. Good list of targets for this year. xxxxxx

Can't believe you're feeling sorry for yourself L. You're usually so upbeat and positive.

Surely OH can go back to the depot and sleep in an office there or take his gritter for a detour to grit the roads leading to your door. Don't work have a contingency plan for that sort of thing? My OHs company have an agreement with travel lodge for v. cheap rooms in their hour of need which is usually the end of a 20 hour shift when the company want themin again 4 hours later. Also comes in handy for the staff x-mas party which is held on site.
