Nice sparkly oven, not so nice bathroom. Next clean bathroom and then attack DS2s drawers as he is moaning they won't shut.

Hi Lucielle and happy new year to you and yours. Only just back from Wales we were delayed with ferry crossings etc Its actually worse here weatherwise has been -8 and water has been frozen for 4 days now. Were having to travel into the village 4miles to get drinking water. We have our own pumped well but that has well and truly frozen probably worse as we werent around to use it daily.
Hope you all had a lovely christmas, off to catch up with my diary.

Another day off for the chaps, much to their dismay (not). Managed 4 hours in work last night. OH was a star, as he was chauffuer otherwise I would've bottled it. Off to attempt to do the horses.

Horses are confined to barracks as its a white out. Threw some hay at them and filled their water buckets. Asked 1 of the chaps to lob some more in later. So proud of myself that I got down and home again. Coming up the hill didn't think we were going to make it.

    Todays list
Broccoli and stilton soup for lunch
    Ironing
    clean top of cupboard
Throw hoover around (should work better now its emptied)
    Ration the milk (running out)

OH not sure if he'll get home, but has instructions and shopping list.
