No sore heads this morning. Managed to chuck the nags out, had real problems getting back up the hill. Nearly made the brow of the hill and it was lots of tyre spinning, burning of rubber and pushing. Asked the friend to get them back in.

After fresh snow fall last night I doubt the children will be back at school tomorrow. This will mean no work for me. However I do have a cunning plan, as long as OH doesn't get called out as 3rd man (sometimes need 3 drivers), he can take me to work and collect me later on. If that doesn't happen I will have to use leave.

Children have remembered about a large blow up ring we usually use in the river and have decided to blow that up and go sledging with it. OH is mending the mini quad so they can go and play in the snow, its been on the to do list for ages and should really have been sold at Christmas but never got round to it. Maybe this year?

Talking to OH about the amount of interest we were paying and he was considereing consolidating, he came round to my way of thinking. I hope the Abbey comes up with the goods.

Had bacon and eggs for dinner. We have nearly run out of bread and no chance of getting any.

Had a big tidy out in the DDs bedroom. Found a very large damp patch making its way up the wall. This has only happened in the last couple of weeks. I thought their room was ok. This has given me focus to throw as much at the debt as possible and then get on the property ladder with the help of my sister and bil. Also another phone call to the land agent.

Looks like Ds1 has got an extra day off school as its closed. Other 3 are gutted. Did manage to get the word revision into the conversation. Work phoned today to see if OH would go in. Luckily he has had a couple of beers so the answer was no.

If I am not working tomorrow I am going to deep clean the oven. I find it really easy putting it to soak in the bath with washing powder. Just hate washing the bath afterwards!

Thanks Penguin, I'll keep an eye out for postie.

Weather forecast looks awful for the coming week.

Other 3 chaps are happy bunnies as school is closed. So plan A swings into action. I'm npt over confident its going to work as I've a feeling OH will be in late. Right, going to go and finish my book.

Children are still in their pits, OH up at 6.10 which means me wide awake. Hoping to get into work later. Just paid £48.72 off target card. I think I get paid this week so another payment winging its way over shortly.

Had no more snow overnight but very icy. Might get OHS car out later to get the boys in and muck out. Going to phone work to tell them my cunning plan.

Oven soaking in the bath. DS1 has put the bins out, not been emptied for 3 weeks now due to the snow, so getting a bit desparate. He has also grudgingly put one of the neighbours out as well. Not sure if it will make it today, but hoping so. Off to do some scrubbing.
