How come I love to muck out the stables nad have everything nice, yet when it comes to the house it all takes such an effort?
Not had any snow overnight which is great and the roads were ok with care. OH came in about 10.30 last night and left about 5.30 this morning. No more wages until Jan the 8th which seems a long time to go.
I have got Monday and Tuesday off but all my plans have gone to pot. Monday I have to take DS2 to have his brace fitted and then on Tuesday DS1 has got a follow up for his brace which is in a different place. I am hoping OH will take the day off and we can do some shopping.
I am comptemplating doing something terrible and putting the gorcery shopping onto a card. This should be cleared with Januarys wages. The other thing I'm thinking about and seriously is selling my horse. I am still in the mulling over stage at the moment. OH has said it is completely my decision.
Todays list is VAT return. I have most of it done just the checking of bank statements and afew other bits and bobs.
Ds1 has gone beating so he will be freezing his bits off as we couldn't find the lid to fit the flask. Poor chap, was feeling sorry for him till I found out he had left the other one in somebody elses car. That'll teach him!

Goodluck with the vat return
I am using my CC's to put my food shopping on to manage my budget better and paying off in full each month to get my credit score looking better - might not be a bad thing to put yours on the card til Jan.
Only you can know the right thing to do about your horse - I remember you and Piq talking about it alot when she was thinking of the expense of hers. Its something you enjoy...................Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.

Thanks Fay, still thinking.
Got them in and it was tiny wee snowflakes. Came out of the stables after putting the old boys bedtime rug on and it was a full blown snowstorm!!! I only live 5 mins away (by car) but have a massive hill to go down which is 's' shaped so very scary on one side as it has a steep drop. Any way made it home.
DS1 has returned from beating and is slowly defrosting in the bath. Pleased with himself as he has made £30.
Got all the figures for the VAT return, just waiting for OH to input the info.
Made the pastry for the mince pies (tomorrows job) and couldn't understand why it wasn't sticking together until I realised I hadn't put the butter in. DOH!!!! Was a bit sticky but think I have managed to salvage it. It's now resting in the fridge.
Crappy tea tonight. Pizza and chips for the chaps and microwave curries for us. OH has been called into work due to the snow so not sure when he will appear.

He has got the car that is completely useless in snow. Mind you he treats the cars like a giant sledge.

Forgot to mention my blonde moment on Friday. I took DS1 with me to do the horses and then leave him whilst I carried onto work. We always have custody battles over the wellies. He has nicked my comfy ones, so I bought some new ones but don't like them. We agreed that I would wear the comfy ones and then give them to him and I put on my shoes and go to work after doing the horsey jobs. Only went and forgot my shoes and had to spend the rest of the day in my wellies in the office and go to lunch in them!!!!!! Luckily everybody thought it was very amusing.
