Managed 4 hours work last night and hopefully something similar today. OH might be taking the chaps swimming or I might just drop them off on my way to work and then he will collect them. The fog has finally lifted it has been really bad for the last few days. I have been playing find the horses in the field!

  • LOL - I can identify with the horsey-fog problems. The riding school I worked at had a couple of greys - I have memories of being sent to the field to collect them in on a foggy day and them deciding it would be hilarious to let me search them out! Little devils!

  • Thought I'd drop in to say hi and thanks for the advice you offered on my thread. It's been invaluable and given how amazing your own efforts have been this year, you're someone who knows what they're talking about.

    Best of luck.

Home from work and having a lazy 5 mins (half an hour). My old boy has decided its time to come in as he wouldn't let me out the field today. I'll go down in a while and get them.

OH has had a meeting with DS and vicitmn Support today to try and get that paperwork sorted. Got school plays this week and having to be at the same place twice etc. I'm good but not that good. Ironing is calling so best move my butt.

I have decided to set myself a new challenge and pay off 9k by June. This might just see me near to the 20k mark (interest will have an affect). This morning paid £188.21 off the cards and that will probably be it until after Christmas. OH doesn't get paid again until Jaunary the 8th. Going to make sure I get the dinnermoney today and then it isn't panic stations when they go back.

Still got the food shopping to do, hopefully on Wednesday. Presents all wrapped apart from OHs.

Was very cold and snowy yesterday, so kept the nags in much to their disgust. This morning will be fun putting them out and 2 days worth of stables to muck out! On the positive side I have said DS1 can have the day off as they were having 1/2 a day anyway and its a long journey. So he is going to help and I can leave him to muck out. Child labour, dontcha just love it!!

Managed a freebie lunch at work but am completely stuffed. My horse was a naughty nag today and didn't want to come in even though it was snowing. Had words when I finally caught the brute. DS1 did a good job on the mucking out front.

Ready to veg out in front of some mindless tele.
