2 oldest children sent to bed. Another wonderful evening in the Lucielle household. A bit chilly tonight think I might put the heating on for an hour.

Don't you just love it? Makes me wonder why I bother. OH has phoned to tell me he is doing another week of nights. Deep, deep joy. Not an excuse for getting out of present wrapping!

At least you'll have the enhanced shift allowance that comes with nights to look forward to.

True, but the way they pay over the festive period is really confusing and makes my head hurt (not that it takes much). 2 weeks pay tomorrow, 1 week on the 18th and then nothing til the 8th of Jan and any extra hours and overtime are paid then.

Nearly made the 15k in 12 months, paying back £14465.41.
So the overall total hasn't gone down that much since June. We have added to the debt but paid that off as well and managed a holiday. The car hasn't helped this month but these things are sent to try us. BB has been very lucrative and so far between us we won £345.75!! Which I think is a fantastic amount.
Christmas is nearly paid for just got the food and booze to get. Apart from 1 item all has been paid for with cash.
This year has seen me get a job, which has helped my sanity and well being. I can get very 'down' and do suffer from very low self esteem so this has boosted me up. However the downside is that the house is a tip and I can't/won't get in control.
Have moved the horses nearer to home which has saved not only petrol money but livery costs, however I don't seem to ride as much as I should now they are nearer. This needs to be addressed or what's the point in keeping them? This will also help on the exercise front.
1 loan finishes in April and I hope to up the amount being paid and get it straight onto another debt before the money is 'lost'.
I need to plan my grocery shopping better. I only do an online order when OH has a fantastic wage and by that time we are down to the last limp lettuce leaf, soggy courgette etc. So the order is mahoosive. Little and often the way to go?
Lots of things to think about.
Going to play with my siggy now.
