It's terrible that they don't support you.Mind you even if she does ring you it doesn't change that you aren't earning anything ..but..as you say it'll be interesting to see if she bothers phoning.

I considered the Avon lady option when we first moved here too. The thing is we are also very rural and as you rightly say the petrol and time spent travelling all come into it. Im sure you will miss the customers though. Means now you wont need to be out and about in the bad weather over the winter (or summer at the mo:rotfl:). You can look forward to cosy winter nights now.

Winter was pretty terrible foe delivering as there are no street lights even in the village. I spent more time falling up and down steps in the dark and trying to act like nothing happened. I will miss some of my customers as I have a good chat with them and set the world to rights.

Still waiting to see if the manager is going to call. i have had 2 people in the past trying to poach my area and nobody I contacted ever bothered to help me. Luckily all my customers stayed loyal and told the new reps they had an Avon lady.

Had a bit of a lie in today. Made 11 paper bricks and put some more paper to soak. I still have a massive pile of paper in the dining room to get made up. Its my aim to get these made before I go on my hols. Speaking of which, I have booked us all in for half a days kayaking, not cheap but worth it. Had roast chicken for tea followed by apple and raspberry crumble n cream. Yum!

DS1 has his friend staying over. He has brought his air rifle over and they have been getting the bunnies. I am not keen on rabbit so he is going to take it back with him. Must book DD1 in for an eye test this week. OH is on nights this week. Should mean I get to work early. Lucky me!

Well allegedly I have a day off tomorrow but I've been coerced into helping someone who has staffing problems. Feeling quite shattered but the money will help as I seem to have spent loads this week. Took DS1 and DD1 shoe shopping yesterday, they both needed trainers. DS1 is now a size 8! Not looking forward to the purchasing of school shoes for any of them. Also got Ds1 some new jeans courtesy of Matalan as I'm not sure what size he is and what he likes.

Took my mum up the valley today and treated everyone to ice cream £9.80 for 7 of us! It was locally produced and very nice but I still felt a little faint. Hoping to clear the residual amount of the target card this week. I am going to make minimum payments on the others the I will have some holiday spends.

The horses are going to need some new shoes very soon. It also looks like the manky moggy is going to have to go the vets as he is passing blood. Hoping its going to be something simple and just need a course of tablets. Getting my eyes tested next week which the employer will reimburse for. Avon delivery due nearly the final one.
