Well of course I forgot to switch it on. So its on now and may be naughty and have some for supper.

Finished work again at 12 as I managed to drag my butt out of bed early. Took the old trout to the local garden centre and DS1 was pushing her in the wheelchair, straight down 1 ramp and up the other side. Luckily she took it well and it gave a few of the other customers a laugh, not to mention the frequent 'doughnuts' he was giving her. We have managed to return in one piece and all I bought was a new plant spray to use for my homemade horsey fly repellent..

Made some turkey meatballs, on base of tomato sauce served with bulghur wheat and salad. It was very yummy and will probably make that again. A girl at work gave me some spuds as I don't grow them cos the slugs get them. Not sure what I can give her in return.

Another £86 off the debt today as a DD came out. Not long until that debt is gone around May next year I think. Target card is at £70. So wish it could be gone but as normal got loads of things which need paying for, car tax, oil and the normal stuff.

    Off for a bath.

I love rice pudding. The Norwegian students we have are used to having Rice pudding on a Saturday for lunch - it is apparently a bit of a tradition over there.

So who am I to argue - filling, cheap, and yummy!!!

Switched it on last night and switched it off at 5 this morning. Seems ok will taste it later. Got DS1 booked in to have his locks chopped in the morning as I'm off. So a little bit of a lie in. Going to have salmon, new pots and veggies for tea. Been fancying fish for ages, will give the chaps cornish pasties as they aren't keen

DS2 phoned from his camp, they have been flooded out. Clever chap had used everybody elses bags to make a barricade and his stuff was dry so he got to sleep on the bus. Looks like they are staying till the bitter end so will see them on Friday.

I have made a decision to resign from being an Avon rep. My customers have been slowly dwindling and as I live in a rural area it means a lot of driving. I think if I took into account my time and petrol I wouldn't be making anything. There are other things I would rather do especially on dark winters nights. I will miss some of my customers, but ce la vie!

OH has to tax his car tomorrow and then I can make some payments. Off to do the horses, back later.

Sounds like the right thing to do - sometimes we forget the "real" cost of doing these things, and the fact that it outweighs pretty much all of our profit.....

When you look at it like that..it's absolutely the right thing to do.There's no point in doing it if you're not earning anything from it...I'm sure you will find something more profitable for that time though.

OHs ebay shop is keeping me pretty busy. Still think I 'should' carry on but I have set the wheels in motion. I have had no support from my area manager and up till half an hour ago didn't even know her name. It will be interesting to see if she contacts me. I certainly have some things to discuss!
