Boys are back behind the wire, much to their disgust. Food is winging its way to Skye with a few more bits purchased today and mother is ensconsed in the living room with a whisky (yuck) I'm having a beer. 2 children are packed and ready for scout camp and packed lunch is prepared and in the fridge.
Hoping to get into work for 7.30 and then I can get finished sooner. Should be home for dinnertime. Got lots of parcels to post for OHs business which I seem to spend most evenings packaging up. The chap who helps with the nags is going to take DS1 out on Tuesday morning as long as its not tipping down.
Made 12 paper bricks tonight, struggliong to get them dry. I could really use an airing cupboard but I don't have one. Must do some harvesting in the garden tomorrow, fancy having a go at making beetroot jelly. Must also try and get some housework done. Managed to get the ironing up to date but the rest of the house is a tip. With 2 children away I might stand a chance, here's hoping. Would love a cleaner and did mention it to Oh for potentially next year and his reply was the year after! AAh well think of the money saved.
Really lacking in the meal planning department and need to be more focused. Hopefully with mum here I will get my act together, just get bit sick of churning out the same old stuff. then on the other hand never have the right ingredients or money to try new stuff. Gosh must stop moaning.

I love reading DFW diaries it helps to focus me and it's lovely hearing about other people's lives. Off to meet Piq's other buddy now if I can find her diary.

Forgot I was going to make beetroot jelly so I have made 7 lemon drizzles instead. Managed to get into work for 7 this morning and finished at 12. Took DS1 over to his friends and DD1 and DS2 were picked up this morning and are on their way to scout camp. DD2 is lurking somewhere.
Think we are going to have risottoe for tea not had it for ages. Got a line full of washing and even managed to get DD1s duvet in the machine and washed. Just got another 2 to go and that's all the childrens duvets done. Feeling a bit tired now I've stopped so I better get going again.

Nope me neither. Just found the recipe, so depending on the weather will havew a go at that one. Been given 5 pints of whole milk on todays date. Probably going to do a rice pudding in the slow cooker. Must try and remember to put it on before I go to work. Got a new recipe for turkey meatballs and bulghur wheat for tea tomorrow night.
