Leaving soon - What can I do?
Hi all, I need some advice / assistance with the situation I'm in. I'm due to be medically discharged (more than likely as I have already been to board once) from the Navy this October. My condition means I constantly get spasms in my back and on some days I struggle even getting out of bed for a wash in the morning. I…

Army won't pay?
My son in law joined the army in September 2000, and served until July 2014 when he left voluntarily. He tells me is entitled to a payment what is known in the army as twelve years money. I'm not sure what this money is, but I think it is half pension. Anyway, since leaving the army, they have been avoiding paying out this…

Overseas draft help please!
Hello! My husband is being drafted to Holland next year, and I'll be accompanying him. I currently work for a local council, who let me work from home after we recently moved away into sfa. Maximum retirement age for a colonel?
I know it's not the right forum but please bear with me. I am writing a book, with a retired SAS Lt. Colonel as one the the characters. He joined young and remained in until he retired. I've googled but can't get a straight answer. It seems to be 20 - 22 years for a rating and 30 years for officers? TIA

Pension Transfer from RAF to Police.
Hi all. I've had a look through a few on-line forums to find an answer to my question, but to no avail; so I wonder if anyone reading this may have the answer. I served in the RAF Regiment in the mid to late 80's for a total of 1717 days; I then joined the Metropolitan Police in February 1990. My question is this; how many…
