Where to go?
Hi, I want to invest £2000 for my son and he would like to draw this down in a years time. I looked on line and wondered what the best option was. He also wants to save £200 per month so that rules out A&L. He doesnt want to change banks so that also rules out first direct. Can anyone advise me on the best option?

Stamp duty on sale of shares
Hi, I've got a shares isa with iii and am considering selling some of my shares. I know that I will have to pay a £10 dealing charge, but I'm not sure if I have to pay stamp duty of 0.5% (I paid stamp duty on buying the shares). The money won't be moved out of the isa. Hi, does anyone have an idea which is the cheapest discount out there for funds? As in which company gives the greatest initial and annual charge back to the customer. As far as I can see Hargreaves Lansdown looks the overall cheapest when looking at around 4/5 funds. I compared this to iii.

Invest offset money or not?
My uncle has an offset mortgage @ 1% above base lifetime tracker. He has around £100k worth of equity on £200k mortgage. My advice was to put £50k into Newcastle BS and either take the monthly interest option (4.85%) - and automatically transfer the interest back to the offset mortgage account.
