I was looking at this account which offers 2.5% for 10k+. Any reviews?

Already done that.

can I opne more than one vantage account? How many can i open?

I have 7 which I opened in the branch all in 1 go. Rumour has it that the rules have changed and that you might now be restricted to 2. The other rumour is that you can open 1 per day.

Go for it. Don't think I'm alone with 6 or 7 -before the Newcastle BS 5year bond it was about the best rate going & with instant access ( although crap FP):beer:

However, we may be able to process your application in a Lloyds TSB branch but we need to talk to you further about your application.
Simply call into any Lloyds TSB branch with;

• An original document confirming your identity e.g. passport or driving licence.
• An original document confirming your address e.g. utility bill or bank statement.

I went to the branch 'cos I could not upgrade my classic plus to vantage online.

It's years since I went into a branch but they were incredibly helpful and it was nice to talk to real people, and have the forms completed for me, so I'm now a branch fan again(why do it yourself when someone else will do it for you) :rolleyes:

Those at my branch are complete nutters.

My experience 2-3 weeks ago was:

• In-branch limit varies from 1 to 2 accounts, depends on manager
• On-line upgrade application tends to give error message
• Telephone sale VERY helpful but limit of one new account per day - I opened 5 over 5 days (already had 2 opened in-branch)

Hope that helps. I now have standing orders set up moving the same £1K around all 7 Vantage accounts on same day each month.
