If you open a fixed rate ISA to transfer another ISA into and the ISA takes 2 to 3 months to go through, does this make it worth while? cheers

HALIFAX ISA Direct Reward
Hi, I have transferred my existing cash ISA in April into an Halifax ISA Direct Reward, which allows 4 withdrawals per year. In April I have deposited the maximum amount allowed £3600. A few days ago (June) I have withdrawn £3600 and I was wondering whether it's possible later in the year to make other deposits. By looking…

Halifax share ISA
I have been saving with the Halifax for a year, putting £500 pm into their regular saver. This is about to mature and they have suggested that I save monthly into their share ISA, as (they say) this will beat any return I would get in interest elsewhere. I am a little cautious about doing this as I do not want to lose my…

Operating a Natwest eISA
Natwest in their T&Cs tell you how you can't pay money in to your eISA i.e. directly pay in your pay, direct debit etc. But don't tell you how you can pay money in. Does anyone know how you can pay money in to one of these?

Should I cancel L&G S&S App to get fidelity?
After much umming and ahhing I have finally dipped my first toe into the stock market by opening an account investing £50 a month in L&Gs UK index tracker (Acc), which I intend to consider a long term investment of 10-20 years. The tracker charges 0.52% total expense ratio. Being a reader of the FOOL website, I have…

Stocks and shares ISA - keep or close?
A few years ago my boyfriend opened a stocks and shares ISA. It was my idea really. He didn't have any savings accounts at the time, so I got him to open a cash ISA. But he has more spare money than a cash ISA allows so I got him to open a stocks and shares ISA too. I thought it would be better than a normal savings…

ISA Question
I opened an Abbey e-ISA for this tax year, but haven't paid into it yet and have had loads of problems with it (they got my surname and NI number wrong, despite me filling in the online form correctly, and every time I log onto online banking it says it's unavailable, which is a bit inconvenient for an e-ISA!) Can I close…

My timing sucks - what should I do?
At the end of last month I decided to do something about the rubbish rate I had on my Intelligent Finance ISA (0.6%), so I applied for a Standard Life one at 2.65% with a view to transferring my funds across. The Standard Life ISA has a 14-day change-your-mind policy, and 15 days after my account was opened, Intelligent…
