how long till exchange?
Hi, I just wondered what the average timescale to exchange of contracts is? We are about 4-5 weeks in, we have a mortgage offer, and enquiries about the contract have been sent to the vendor. Assuming things are going at the same speed at their end, and there are no unforeseen hiccups, when can we expect to exchange? thanks

We've looked at a 2 bed to be completed by Bloor Homes June 2010 priced at £169,950. We would be buying it on the 85/15 scheme (repay 15% at time of sale to Bloor) but they have turned around and said they won't budge on price and they will carpet OR pay stamp but not both. The house is end of terrace, 2 parking spaces and…
