looking to buy here in a very small area (village) No rush, waiting for the right deal and house to come along. Prices have not dropped here, waiting for reality to kick in, and hopefully a second round of drops. Its tradtionally a quiet time anyway, but that doesnt mean you wont sell, it only takes one person. It took me a year exactly to sell my last house, and it was a beautiful Grade 11 listed cottage, at a reasonable price, theres houses here that have been on four years, quite a few of them!Pawpurrs x

We have an offer accepted on a house back in September but things are moving very slowly on the seller's end so we are keeping our eye out for other suitable properties.
If your house is under £175k, I think you will have a fair bit of interest towards Xmas as buyers will want to complete before the stamp duty holiday comes to an end.0 -
Yup people are still looking. We have just had an offer accepted at £170k.0

Still looking here! Beyond desperate to move now. There's just nothing coming on the market though.

I've just put an offer in a repo (2/3 weeks ago) and waiting for the lengthy process to be completed.0

We are in that situation with our ea, we are about to change (they are rubbish - sporadic viewings and no feedback even when pressed!). nothing is coming on the mkt that we want to buy so have decided to go into rented for 6months + once we have an offer on ours. we will then be cash buyers and able to negotiate better in the spring, fingers crossed!!0

We have had weeks of nothing too so it may be a wait till spring now. Means I am going to be stung with stamp duty when it returns though so thats not good0

We're FTB and have just bought. Offer accepted at the start of October and we're taking the keys next week. There were also other Notes of Interest in on the property so I think people are still looking even at this time of year.0
