Hi all, I have just submitted a charging order on a flat after being granted a CCJ over an unreturned deposit, and am still awaiting the interim order from the court. The reason for the order, was because I saw that the flat was up for sale, and thought that this might be the quickest way of getting our money back. I have…

Are you Ok with workmen in your house when you are not there?
Following a subject that I opened recently about my problem with the letting agency, I got answers like: "Why do you feel you need to be there?" , "let them go in and do it!" ... Is it "dangerous" to get mortgage company to do homebuyers survey?
Hi All I am thinking about getting my mortgage company's preferred surveyor to do a homebuyer's survey as well as the general valuation. I know it's only a week, but I would have thought new owner or someone would have been round to check. Maybe new owners are out of country or some other problem. Any ideas or comments.

How much of a house can I buy?
What's the minimum % of a house that can be bought with a shared ownership scheme? I would not be able to get a mortgage but have savings to buy 10-15% of a house, based on the average price in the area I wish to live. The problem is most seem to say "you can buy half and rent the rest", which implies it's a minimum of 50%…
