Unenforceable Debt - What Now?
I have had confirmation from both Cabot and Idem that my debt is unenforceable after requesting CCA's. Is there a template I can use to write to them to inform them that I will be stopping payments until the CCA's can be found? Has anybody had anything happen after payments have stopped?

ADHD and Frogs: How to Balance the Budget?
Hello! This post is going to be a little long, but I wanted to be honest about how I ended up in this situation. I joined MSE last year in the hope of making a fresh start, and then in the middle of moving house, I had a family bereavement. "The Diary & Teacake" - DFW'ers Virtual cafe-in-a-crisis
OK - no idea if this will work but let's see - I have deliberately put it on the diaries board because my intention is that this is a general chat thread, and yes, counter to the "usual" MSE rules (hoping the mods/board guides will allow, in the circumstances), it will not necessary have a DFW theme to the posting, and I'm…

Making my way out
Starting this thread as a means of holding myself to account over my current debts and to keep focused on getting out to the other side! I'm naturally a saver as opposed to a spender, however, I've built up debt over the last year or so and I'm starting to feel a little overwhelmed and in need of feeling 'back in control'…

Hi, so I'm new here. I have a secret credit card debt of £3700 that my husband doesn't know about. Make a Wish, then Make a Plan
I have drifted along in life far too long and now I need to decide what I want to do, where I want to be and then make a plan to get me there. After all my previous hard work, I've let my debts rack up to worse than before. I know this makes no sense but it's partly because I was earning more and so therefore less concerned. So why so…

Freedom 2030
Hi all. Thought I would start a diary now I'm starting my DMP journey. I've done a lot of reading on this forum and have decided to self manage the process.
