SA-report an amount under £1 ?
In 2024-25 I received interest income from various sources which in total combined with my SP took my reportable income over £20k. I know to round down to ignore pence, but total interest for one small account came in at 99p for the year. Do I just ignore this amount altogether and not include it?

How to submit 2024-2025 untaxed savings interest to HMRC?
Hello All. I'm a non-taxpayer, on a small work pension which is my only income aside from a little savings interest. A data-only glitch at my pension provider in 2024 accidentally sent incorrect data to HMRC, reporting my pension income as double its actual value (payments weren't doubled!). The issue was identified and…

Capital Gains Tax
Hello, I am about to finalise the sale on my house and planning on living with family for a while. I asked about any extra costs with the solicitor and they mentioned capital gains tax might be payable but it wasn’t anything that person dealt with. I found a forum which suggested selling your home and not purchasing…

As such I just wanted to check that I am doing the right thing.…

Old employer processed a negative pay
Hi, I left my old employer June 2024 and received my final pay in July 2024 from them along with my P45. I had no knowledge of this and no idea of what, if any, implications of that were. Is this…

CGT BUILDING COSTS IN 1999
We have just sold our house which we purchased 30 years ago. We rented it out for half the time, which I know we can use against our CGT liability. Company Van Tax
Hello, I'm a little confused about BIK for Vans with fuel cards. As far as I can tell people who have company vans pay zero tax when a company provides a van and fuel card so long as you do not do significant private use miles, is this correct? It's seem a little crazy to not pay any tax as it makes me wonder why do people…
