Hi, my mum is 80 and is having trouble using her bathroom even though she has a shower and not a bath. My dad has asked me to inquire for her whether they would get help with fitting a safer wet room? They own their own bungalow and are not on any benefits. Mum isn’t classed as disabled but suffers from dizziness, she has…

Becoming a carer
In just 3 weeks my mum’s mobility has deteriorated from swimming daily, Pilates, walking (albeit slowly) and generally pottering about to almost complete paralysis of her legs and an inability to walk or stand. HMRC Redress for Child Benefit not being paid on time last week
Hi I have just received an email from HMRC after I complained about last weeks Child Benefit debacle. They have apologised profusely and as an acknowledgement of their error they are sending me £50. I don't know if it's too late to put a complaint in now but must be worth a try. Hope this helps a few people out.

UC Claim ended as I hadn’t accepted commitments
I’ve mistakenly not accepted my commitments and my claim has been closed. My only defence is that I don’t log on very often as I am working and currently receiving zero. So I only definitely log on to put in my income each month and check my journal then. I’ve not received any emails telling me to log on that I can find. A…
