Cheapest 50" Plasma
Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, please point me in the right direction if so. I'm after a 50" Plasma tv as a treat. Not really fussed on getting the best one as long as I pay the least amount! Can anyone point me in the direction of the cheapest one? I've see £1000 is a cheap benchmark (currys etc) Thanks in advance

Do you hate sites that don't test before launch?
Me too. I've come across two major sites in the last couple of days that had errors. Worse, the errors were on major parts of the sites, the first one had the fault on the contact form, the second was a forum with an error in the submission form. Now normally coding errors don't just develop by themselves, unless of course…

Quick RAM question
I'm looking to upgrade my home machine from 768MB to 1.5GB of RAM. I know most of the details for the RAM except the speed. If I buy PC3200 RAM and my motherboard will only support PC2700, will I do any damage? I know I'll need to go on Crucial at some point to check how much my motherboard will support in terms of MB but…

My partner is looking to buy a camcorder. We are not sure about mini dv because they use tapes so we are worried about the quailty and feel it might be best to go for a hard drive or dvd one. What are the advantages of each? Can anyone suggest a decent one, the budget is about £300? Many thanks! Sarah

Is there an efficient way to check the speed potential? & guess there's no way to improve it, whatever it is? We're on AOL here, but could…

Windows or linux?
Windows or Linux - which one? Sell it to me. Remember you don't just jump into bed with Terry Tibbs. You take Terry Tibbs out to lunch, you wine and dine him then you give him an oil massage first.
