Treadmill problem
My treadmill belt stops and sticks when I step on it. I have lubricated it with the oil provided with it. Also tightened the belt using allen key. Does anyone know how to resolve this issue. Also, can we use any machine lubricating oil or do we have to use only special treadmill oil?

http://x-force.se/index.php/concept For those who are familiar with these machines. I'm currently giving them a go. Apparently you're to do them a max of 2 times every 10-15 days. https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=X-Force+weight+machine You're supposed to spend more time on the negative side of the motion (the…

Keep Moving Challenge for 2018
With so many folk having fit-bit type devices (or similar) and keeping a note of how far they have walked or run each day I start this thread as an open challenge to record your distances. No specific target this year, just set your own. Whether you will be walking, running, cycling or swimming I hope that you will use…

Gym changed ownership rules?
Hi there myself and my wife are members of virgin active in Belfast. However this month they have sold the gym to the new owner and name Bannatyne health and fitness (the franchise led by the dragons den guy). Does this mean we can end our 12mth membership early? Long work days followed by the gym & then sorting tea afterwards (dinner)
Depending whether you call it tea or dinner :) I'm just wondering what others here do for those who work long days, say you start at 7am/8am/9am and you don't finish until say 6pm. You then go straight to the gym because you know if you land home first it'll be heating on & feet up. You do an hours workout, maybe more…

Vibrating plates in the gym
Of course the fitness instructors and the gym owners will tell you they work wonders but i can't help but feel dubious about them. Recently signed up to the gym and there's one of these things there and it just brings me images of those belts that you wear that shock your muscles and give you a 6 pack while you eat cake…

Gym membership cancellation
Forgive me if this is in the wrong section, please move it if it is. Last November, I signed up to a gym membership with my local leisure centre for a 12 month contract. 2 days later I was told that my dad was unwell and 3 weeks after that he died so I ended up not going to the gym. I finally went in February and I was…
