Christmas stocking alternatives for boys...
Ok, so that might be confusing, so I'll explain. For Christmas, I'm making the children at church (and a few family members) little knitted 'stocking' things, only I'm trying a design that's actually more of a drawstring bag. Great for the girls, not-so-great for the boys. I don't want to leave them out but I'm completely…

Christmas lighting in outdoor porch
I was wondering if there is some kind of (safe) connector to swap the normal lightbulb in our porch lantern for Christmas lights for a few weeks. There is no outdoor socket and putting one in would be quite a task, I would imagine. It may not be possible to do it of course but just wondered.

Hey everyone. I've been a follower for a few years now of these boards and have loved seeing all the crafts that people have been doing for Christmas gifts and sales, and I know sometimes it's hard to keep track of where you saw the projects you wanted to make. So I was wondering if any other MSEr's use Pinterest?…

Follow the Christmas run-up!
I love the annual Christmas Hype cycle - the ads on TV, the markets, the continual watch for heavy snow.
