DIY Project section?
Been thinking about this for a while. I often visit over another forum that has this sub-forum but it’s mainly focussed on AV / Cinema builds. If the DIY section had a sub-forum where members could post threads about their DIY progress with pictures other members could get ideas, ask questions etc.. A big thread could…

Benefits and Tax Credits forum Sticky
The second post in the work and Benefits forum is a sticky with useful links. Unfortunately it is now very old and many of the links are missing or incorrect. I suggest it may be time for the post to be unstickied and retired. Obviously if someone wants to update it that would be great (but I am not volunteering).

The Forums Mods
Based on the threads/posts that have been pulled and on the reasons given, in terms of fairness and their political leanings, have a stab at how you consider them? Left, neutral, right? Fair, unfair? This is not to try and incite a mob rule, just peoples experiences. Possibly in an attempt to manage both our and maybe even…

Dt
There has been a lot of discussion about closed/removed/deleted threads down there on DT, perhaps the time is right for a sticky updating what is/isnt permissible on DT? Even more to the point isn't it about time that MSE had in some forums moderators and not board guides? I'm only echoing the thoughts of some/many regular…

Travel money advice
I wish MSE researchers would update the info on the travel money page more frequently. Having tried two companies which apparently accepted debit cards, I found one only accepted bank transfers and the other was unable to accept a debit card until 1 September 2018. I gave up at this stage. I hope MSE read this post but I…

BST to GMT
Has BST (British Summertime) ended? Are we now back in the days of GMT or has the government decreed that BST is finished? Anyone else noticed that site times seem to randomly switch between BST and GMT - last week, BST and GMT, then back to BST, today, GMT. Preparing for the clocks going back?

Thanks
I've just discovered that even after a thread has been closed to further posting, you can still Thank someone in the thread. It's like a sort of silent sit-down demonstration, or standing in front of a tank holding out a flower. :)

Is it possible to block certain users?
There's a particular user on this site who is intent on making my experience of using this forum particularly unpleasant by hijacking threads I start with unrelated issues and even to the point of looking back over comments I've made years in the past and then using them against me. Is it possible to block certain users…

Log-in absurdities.
This website is driving me mad! It wouldn't recognise my log-in details, so I had to go through the forgot my password rigmarole. Then four times it wouldn!!!8217;t recognise the new password I had been sent!!! So back to square one. It recognised that new password, allowed me to change my password, then wouldn!!!8217;t…

End of tenancy deposit dispute
My daughter has special needs and was living in supported living with 2 friends, during this time her shower backed up due to a blockage, we were informed that this was covered by the landlords insurance. She gave notice to quit some 5/6 months after this. The landlord, despite not requesting any repayments in the interim…

New User URL
It seems I'm unable to post using URLs or image URLs. I've searched for the message "Sorry as a new user you are not allowed to post with links. This is done to stop spammers clogging up the site. Please edit your message below to continue." but cannot find any guidance as to how 'new user' might be determined. I've…

Huh??
Am I having a bit of a moment, or has my thread about beggars disappeared? I started it less than an hour ago, and it had about half a dozen replies, none of which were contentious as far as I could see?

Spacing between paragraphs
The forum seems to add additional space between paragraphs in my posts. Here's an example (post no 4) https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5877824/charges-against-property-letting-it If I edit a post I can remove the additional returns and save so that the spacing is correct. I'm using a Windows 10 PC and…
