Whats the difference between Todays Posts and New posts?

New posts you've spelt correctly, Todays posts is missing the apostrophe?:p
On MSE I doubt there's any difference.
On other forums I've used, 'recent posts' will show all the posts over a chosen time period (day,week, fortnight etc). I don't think the option to choose is available here.
Today's posts is, well, posts made today (this side of midnight past).
Possibly if you viewed the forum slightly after midnight you would see a very short list of 'today's posts', but as the forum has a default setting of 300 search results, and no option to change it, once the first 300 posts have been made, the results will be the same.0
