Is it possible to block certain users?

There's a particular user on this site who is intent on making my experience of using this forum particularly unpleasant by hijacking threads I start with unrelated issues and even to the point of looking back over comments I've made years in the past and then using them against me.

Is it possible to block certain users from threads I start, or at least block me ever seeing their comments?

Click on User CP on the green bar near the top of the page.

Click on Edit Ignore List.

Add the username you wish to ignore and save.
