20 AA Batteries for £3.99
When I was in Focus yesterday they had a bin at the checkout selling 20 Kodak Max AA batteries for £3.99. Not sure if this was local offer or national, but worth picking up if you're there. Box also had AAA but these were not mentioned on price label.

Don't suppose PC world price match websites like Ebuyer for cables?
Just want a USB extension cable. They're silly prices like £20 in PC world but only £5 delivered from ebuyer. Don't suppose anyone knows if PC world would match Ebuyer if given a print out? I suppose the ridiculous prices is how they make their money.

This is a bargainous price, however it is occassionally possible to find it cheaper at some online stores (see the cheapest online…

Looking for a comfortable leather office chair <£40
Hi all, I am looking to buy a comfortable, leather office chair for my OH for his birthday (in 10 days, aargh!) and have spent this afternoon scouring the Internet for the best deal. I've found several through HUKD, however most have at least one comment about the poor quality or poor comfort levels. Could anyone point me…

Somebody at Tesco likes me!
Very strange! On my last home delivery order I got a free Edam cheese. I put it down to an internet glitch as I had added it to my basket but deleted it before checking out. The time before that I got two boxes of tampons instead of one, which I just thought was an oversight. Both times the "free" item wasn't listed on my…

m&s sale
Does anyone know when the m&s summer sale starts? I've asked in store but the staff are very evasive and won't tell me. I think that m&s should tell their loyal customers and account holders about the sale like Next and Debenhams etc do.

Urgent! Would you like Martin to reclaim you mortgage exit fees for you?
Have you switched mortgage or paid it in full in the last few years? If so, chances are you paid a fee, technically known as mortgage exit administration fee (MEAF). MEAF costs have been climbing and in January '07 the FSA told lenders they must justify these increases; in most cases they simply agreed to refund customers…

Cheap Asda 6 person tent
Hi all :) I recently bought a 6 person, two room tent from Asda for £40. However, given all the rain we've been getting recently, I'm starting to worry whether it is going to be waterproof enough... I have another week that I can return it in, so was wondering if any of you have used this tent, and can tell me if it's any…
