nectar points-can i do this?

hiya sorry if this is in the wrong place if so move it please.

i went gala bingo last week with my friend and as soon as we got there the woman asked if i had a nectar card as you can now collect points,so i handed over my nectar card with my gala membership card and was given 80 points for just walking in the building, this was before i even purchased anything too.So in theory if i go in each time i walk past can i/am i allowed to go in swipe my membership card and gain nectar points for doing so and walk back out without playing/staying if so i could collect a hell of a lot of nectar points as i work really close to one and could pop in each day! what do you think?

Me and my mum had the same though, and asked my hubby (he works at Gala). Apparently management have to authorise all the points to go through (at least he thinks). If you are at a busy club, and try your card during a busy session, they may not notice though, as I think the only list they have of members playing is dependent on swiping the card when you come in.

    Give it a try.

I wouldn't get away with it. They'd be like "She wasn't here!" and probably give my hubby a lecture! :(

From what I understood you only swipe your nectar card once, then it's automatically linked to your gala card and every time you swipe your gala card after that you automatically get nectar points.

once your nectar card has been linked to your gala membership card you then only have to swipe your membership card on the way into gala and you get your points. so you dont have to play bingo to get them i suppose-iv not tried it yet though!!
