I am currently in the process of switching a joint account from RBS to Nationwide but also have an RBS instant saver account. Will RBS allow me to keep the instant saver account open or Will I have to close it down?

Interest only mortgage repayment
We have an interest only mortgage and have been paying off our debts, we are now debt free (apart from the morgage) which is the best way to start paying off our morgage? Should I open a savings acc or pay direct to the morgage lender?
