Need to comply with Will...
My father died nine years ago and left money for my son to have when he reaches 25. I was an executor to his Will - along with two other family members. (My son is now 13 years old). When Probate was granted, and funds released, I invested my sons inheritance in Premium Bonds, automatically reinvesting his wins into more…

Best place to put £22 a month for 25 years?
Hi A friend has just given her God son £1000 for his 25th birthday she has saved this over his life. I thought this was a really nice idea and I'd like to do the same for my nieces and nephews as I have no children of my own. I'd be saving £22 per month over an average of 25 years, this would give me £1500 for each of them…

Tax question
I'm maxed out on S&S ISAs and want to buy some Investment Trusts outside ISAs. If I buy accumulation units, and after say 5 or 10 years sell units, do they count as income and have to be added to gross income for income tax or are they capital gains? If capital gains then presumably you could sell £10600 each year (if…

Morrisons Share Save
Hi, the company my friend works for is doing a share save scheme. If you go to the below link and click 'Apply Now' the details and terms etc. can be found. http://www.ybsshareplans.co.uk/morrisons/en/home All looks good to me and I was going to advise them to join (with whatever they can afford to commit to every month)…

Shares
My wife and I have shares managed by The Share Centre, just a single company each,Vodafone and Ladbrokes,no portfolio of shares. Problem is they keep on charging management fees, and we've had absolutely zero return over many years from our investment as their fees consume much more than any dividends. For example my shares…

Eggs in one basket?? Good or bad idea?
I'm struggling to find an ISA where I don't need to be a current account holder or have lots to invest. My options are very limited but one provider where I do fit the criteria is my mortgage provider. Now I'm a little unsure about this. Would it be a good or bad idea to open a savings account with my mortgage provider? I…
