YBS-Please explain a few things to me
I have an internet saver. Withdrawals. I thought I saw somewhere that funds take 5 days to reach the linked account. I made a withdrawal on Saturday ( showed immediately ) and the money arrived in the linked account today. Is that normal? Would it still have arrived today if I had sent the request on Monday instead or do…

NatWest esavings
I have the info (form, bumpf etc) to apply for an esavings account so I get then apply for an e-ISA. I expected to have to provide ID as I don't bank with NatWest, but they don't ask for it. That's great of course as long as they don't decide they need it later just to delay things. Also they don't say who to make the…

A&L Premier 50 Current Account
Am I missing something here ? Having read the advertisement for this account, it would appear that if I opened an account with £2500 (the maximum), I would get 5.0% AER. AER is totally misleading in this instance, because at the end of year1, the rate falls to 1% AER, and the compounding effect is irrelevent ! The gross…

Best for ISA: income or accumulator fund?
I know that dividends can't be reclaimed in an S&S ISA but understand that some bond funds pay returns as "interest" that can be reclaimed. So should a bond fund in an ISA always be an income fund rather than an accumulator fund or doesn't it matter either way?
