How do we track down a Child's bond ?
When LO was born her great-grandfather took out a child's bond for £1k to pay out when she is 18. He is now deceased and we've no idea where the thing is or who it was taken out with. It's probably with her father who we've no contact with, and he's probably lost it anyway. We don't want to go getting involved with him,…

Closing an account and then reopening question.
I like everybody get fed up with their savings rate going down but new savers getting a much higher rate. I have an ING account, its now 4.75% I think. Can I close it down and then re-apply for the 6% the new savers get. I like ING, but I will leave them and thats a shame.
