Bereavement - Inheriting shares?
Help! What happens to shares when a person dies? In this case, my mother. With a small amount invested in shares in 2 or 3 companies (still finding all the paperwork) Who do I need to inform? As next of kin with no will but no-one to contest any of the estate. Or do all these things get transferred after probate is granted?

YBS Regular Saver
Hi, I'm interested in opening a YBS Regular Savings account, currently at 6.85%, and saving between £250 and £500 per month. Before I proceed, can I ask, would I need my salary paid into a YBS account to qualify? And would I be able to set up a direct debit to fund it from a NatWest account? Thanks. :)

Risk Profiles and Sector Allocations
Can we have some views on these please? When someone says they are "low" or "medium" risk, the question comes back "What does that mean for you?" because each individuals perception of "low" and "medium" will differ. In March I will be selling my house and will have ~70k lump sum and at least £1000/month to do something…

Regular Savings Accounts - a question.
Many I have seen advertised will only allow you to invest in them as long as you also open a regular account – which usually pays an atrocious interest rate. If I open an account with just a pound, and do nothing else with it, then open a regular saver - will the bank get the hump and tell me to !!!!!! off? I’ve heard that…

Graduate Loan Insurance?
4 Years ago I took out a £10k graduate loan, for which despite argument, HSBC insisted I took the insurace with this. This meant total repayment of around £14k. 2 or 3 months later I returned back to them to argue again that I didn't really need/want the insurance. For some reason they deemed it fit to replace the loan…
