Graduate Loan Insurance?
000---000
4 Years ago I took out a £10k graduate loan, for which despite argument, HSBC insisted I took the insurace with this. This meant total repayment of around £14k. 2 or 3 months later I returned back to them to argue again that I didn't really need/want the insurance. For some reason they deemed it fit to replace the loan without the insurance, however, required an early cancellation fee of around £500 for the first loan. As I was saving £1,500 I took this option.
Does anyone know if/how I can claim this £500 back? Who do I talk to? (I don't think this comes under the current late fees and charges debate)
