Lloyds Bank - valid claim?
Hi, I am in correspondence with Lloyds Bank, having written to claim back £540. They have responded (not unsurprisingly) to say no, because the charges I am claiming are not 'default' charges. Among other charges, I am claiming back the £10 fee incurred everyday that I went over an agreed overdraft limit. They…

Halifax Charges
Hi this is my first post here so hope I am in the right place. I am in the process of claiming back charges from Barclays which form the bulk of the overdraft I had with them - I opened a 'parachute' basic bank account with Halifax as they as expected terminated my account. Do the banks send you a cheque?
I'm sure they don't, but do the banks send your money (once you have accepted their offer) by cheque, or simply credit your account. Surely, if people are having their accounts closed, that wouldn't work, would it?

Charges refunded then more....can I ask again?

I had £500 refunded about two months ago, I logged onto my account to see a direct Debit I had set up has now came off instead of Friday, I went £7.00 into unauthorised overdraft, I quikcly…

OT: Reclaiming unpaid wages
I had a job before working in a shop a few years ago. The contract said I should get certain premiums such as time and half after so many hours, double time after so many hours, etc. I did a lot of overtime but they often refused to pay me anything more than standard pay. I can't remember how much I was due but I worked it…

Can anyone tell me an approximate amount I'd be charged if I take the bank to court to reclaim circa £3,000 over a six year period? (I know that I'd get the costs reimbursed if I win). Thank you.
