Apple support
I know a lot of people dont like Apple or their products but I would like to praise them for sorting my daughter's laptop over the phone. It is not new and we do not pay for support. They spent over 1/2 hour on the phone and sorted the problem. Fair play to them.
Openeo (tyres)

Ordering from John Lewis - frustratingly poor service
Has anyone else experienced the opposite of what they'd expect when ordering things from JL? We picked out 4 kitchen appliances for our new kitchen recently and tried to order it all online. One of the appliances had a discount code advertised, £100 off if you trade in your old machine, but this wouldn't work online so we…
Premier Inn
PRAISE, Recently used them for the 1st time in about 15 years for a family room. Whilst nice and clean I struggled to get a decent nights sleep due to,for me, saggy mattress. I found they did a guarantee of a good nights sleep or a refund of the cost. True to their promise they refunded me without any arguing. Fair play to…
Linens Limited
Beware this company and their 'customer service policies'. They'll be fine if your items are fine, arrive on time etc. but woe betide if anything goes wrong. This is our saga: We ordered some towels from LL via my husband's Amazon account. 1 white bale, 1 single latte towel. I'll try to keep it as brief as possible so to…
Trustpilot - a dawning realisation that it's a scam!
Hi all, Just a word to the wise for those of us that thought that Trustpilot reviews were a useful tool in doing "due diligence" prior to a purchase. My recent experience of Trustpilot has opened my eyes to the fact that the companies which it hosts reviews of are in fact their CUSTOMERS! These companies pay Trustpilot a…
Ao.com
Don't assume anything when buying from AO, e.g. that the light in the microwave does anything. Purchased a Sharp Microwave R664WM_WH for £79. Not cheap, but seemed good value at the time. Unpacked it, switched it on, then realised that although there is a light inside it, you cannot actually see inside while you are…
Mis-sold, no duty of care shown
My parents who are in their nineties decided to use Everest for some replacement doors and windows. Unfortunately they did all of this before telling the family! The price was extortionate but my parents had agreed to go ahead. They had the items fitted, one door did not match the frame, another exit door was too narrow…
